About Us

Santa’s Naturals was born out of the desire to do others good during the holiday season. 

In 2018, Founder and US Veteran Philip Freeman became deeply dissatisfied with the cheaply-made seasonal candles that filled the shelves of popular department stores and holiday shops during the winter.  Philip and his team sought to introduce smooth-burning, thoughtfully-sourced Christmas candles with transparent ingredients that would consider communities around the world. The result: Santa’s Naturals Christmas Candles.

We proudly make all of our candles in our Raleigh, NC workshop. Additionally, we donate to vetted, local and global non-profits that are working to build sustainable communities and rebuild the environment. We have also become a Certified B Corporation demonstrating our commitment to social and environmental ethics, transparency and accountability.

All of our candles are made with a thoughtfully sourced blend of beeswax and soy wax, essential oils, fine fragrance oils, and cotton-core wicks. The fragrances we use are paraben-free and phthalate-free. We source our beeswax from Koster Keunen, an organization that uses  recycled water and solar energy in their manufacturing, as well as sourcing the majority of their beeswax from empowered and fairly compensated West African farming communities. 

In our short history of selling high-quality Christmas Candles, we have made great strides towards improving the holiday candle landscape, as well as achieving some notable milestones.
