About Us

Santa’s Naturals was born out of the desire to do others good during the holiday season. 

In 2018, Founder and US Veteran Philip Freeman became deeply dissatisfied with the cheaply-made seasonal candles that filled the shelves of popular department stores and holiday shops during the winter.  Philip and his team sought to introduce clean-burning, sustainably-sourced Christmas candles with transparent ingredients that would consider communities around the world. The result: Santa’s Naturals Christmas Candles.

We proudly pour all of our candles in our Raleigh, NC workshop. Additionally, we donate 2% of our revenues to vetted, local and global non-profits that are working to build sustainable communities and rebuild the environment. To ensure our commitment is achieved, we have also become a Certified B Corporation and a 1% For the Planet member–two agencies that verify the accuracy of social, financial and environmental claims. We also partner with RePurpose Global to reduce plastic usage and offset our footprint.

Our Mission: we care as much about the people who use our candles as we do about how we make them. We donate 2% of revenues, are made in USA, and a certified B Corporation.

All of our candles are made with a sustainably sourced blend of beeswax and soy wax, essential oils, fine fragrance oils, and cotton-core wicks. The fragrances we use are paraben-free and phthalate-free, ensuring a healthier burn. We source our beeswax from Koster Keunen, an organization that uses  recycled water and solar energy in their manufacturing, as well as sourcing the majority of their beeswax from empowered and fairly compensated West African farming communities. 

We were ranked #1 on Amazon for Seasonal Candles in 2022. We have over 2,000 5-star amazon reviews. We are in stores such as Whole Foods, HEB, and Aerie. Also, we have been featured in Taste of Home, The Pioneer Woman, Country Living, and more!

In our short 6-year history of selling high-quality Christmas Candles, we have made great strides towards improving the holiday candle landscape, as well as achieving some notable milestones.
